The Museum's collection of photographs spans the medium’s history, with exceptional holdings of work made in America during the 20th-century examining genres such as Social Realism and Urban cityscapes, as well as large representations of Japanese albumen photographs, and the work of artists Berenice Abbott, Leopold Hugo, Todd Webb, Phillippe Halsman, and Barbara Morgan.
