  • Aid GI Who Fell from 'Copter: GIs of U.S. 1st Cavalry Division help a comrade who fell about 20 feet from helicopter as it was leaving Firebase Bronco, about 17 miles inside Cambodia north of the Fish Hook area. As the 'copter was loading the men, the base came under enemy mortar attack and in the rush to get away several men fell from the 'copter. U.S. forces are scheduled to withdraw from Cambodia by June 30.
