Tam Quanh, South Viet Nam: Medics of the Vietnamese Airborne Brigade identify bodies, wrapped in ponchos, of soldiers killed in a fierce night attack by the Viet Cong on village occupied by the government troops 1/31. More than 100 Viet Cong were reported killed in the fighting. The Vietnamese paratroopers are taking part in Operation Masher with the U.S. 1st Cavalry Division.
