- Wounded North Vietnamese Soldier Taken to U.S. Carrier: Saigon: A North Vietnamese soldier, wounded during Operation Deckhouse 4, is carried by U.S. Marines to waiting evacuation helicopter for transportation to the U.S. aircraft carrier, Iwo Jima, near here recently. During the Operation, begun September 14th, Marines spotted a Viet Cong rest and rehabilitation camp--which they destroyed--built just inside the South Viet Nam border, near the Demilitarized Zone.
